Are you fucking kidding me, plus $20 to park!
I got hooked up with a ticket to A-1, looks like I'll be staying home for the other rounds. No way I will pay those prices.

Yeah, that 20 dollar ticket ends up being like 35.. lol But hey, you get to laser beams and pyro. Someone will be along shortly to tell you Feld is making no money on sx. haha

Ehhhhh.... about what I'd expect if you asked me. It's the biggest race of the year, I would think prices would be a little higher than the other rounds.

What were the prices last year?

That's not even close to NFL prices. And people want it to be as big as NASCAR, for the riders I hope it does. Smile

Jeez, and what if they are?

Next you're going to tell us that bike and gear manufacturers should be selling stuff at their cost.

I am just pissed that my brother just bought the tickets this weekend. I have been telling him since November to buy them now!

Now we get crap seat that still cost major dough!

For now on, I'm buying months in advance..........

Is pitpass still a monster can?

I bought tickets for the Daytona Supercross in May, when they first went on sale. I got the best seats in the house, right on the finish line , in the top of Campbell section, under the boxes, ( it rained last year), for $40 a seat. I guess I got a good deal.

Equilibrium market price. Where supply and demand meet. Standard elementary economics.

Bottom line-

It will still sell out like every season.. Put up or shut up

No Joke! If the SX tickets were priced like NFL tickets there would be 1,000 people in the stadium.

Personally I don't care what they charge. My gripe is that the service charges are getting closer and closer to the actual ticket price itself. It's not just SX, it's everything that Ticket Master sale tix to. Feld is in the business of making cash, they have no interest in making the sport more professional, I mean they have Monster Jam and Disney on Ice, it's about the show, more than the sport. Not a fan of "timed" practice either. I still go and enjoy the hell outta the races!

If your able, buy your tix from Anaheim Stadium, no service charges. Keep the drinking low key in the parking lot.

Then go to a Yamaha dealer...or the box office...or sit at home on your couch.

Yeah, let's meet up for sure!
Not sure where our seats are yet for the night show, but I will probably get there around noon and will be cruising around. Can't remember if Toby has my cell number.

Do we still get into the pits free this year if we have empty Monster cans? Didn't even think about buying a Pit Pass this year with my tickets.

Speaking of tickets.. If you are considering going to Vegas this year, you better hurry unless you want to pay a premium from a 3rd party seller. The "best available" seats are now in the corner of the stadium (and just as expensive as A1). I was thinking of booking a trip last night and that kind of stalled that idea.

I have a serious question. How would one go about trying to get down on the track during track walk? Is it even possible?

If you're a rider or crew member it's possible. Otherwise, not so much.

Parts Unlimited does usually do a track walk before the start of the night show, but I think that's for dealers and families. If you have a connection at a shop you might be in luck.

Sounds like a plan. Thanks GuyB.

Precisely.

Kind of sounds like we should get a second round in Indi or Atlanta or pretty much any one of the other highly attended rounds that aren't in California. Sounds like the Cali guys are getting a little spoiled having 6 rounds a year. I would gladly pay those prices to have a race less than a 6 hour drive away because, right now, I don't have one. Oh, and I gladly attend the Indi round every year and the Toronto round almost every year. Buying my tickets for those 2 events are one of my favorite days of the year, regardless of price!
