450- Marvin Musquin. I pick him just because the momentum he has right now. This doesn’t mean I’m picking him for the championship.

250- Adam Cianciarulo. I think it’s going to come between him and Hill and I think it’s finally his year. If he can stay healthy he’s very fast and he’s coming into the season at 100%.

Let’s see who you got:

I believe as well that Marvin will win A1...convincingly. It's more than momentum, although there's that...I think more that it's "his time" and he knows it.

I believe Hill will win the 250's.

AC for sure in the 250’s. I think he’ll win indoors and out this year. I hope so anyway.

As for the 450’s.. man I don’t know. If I had to put money on one of them it would be Marvin. But crazy things happen at A1 so I kind of expect the unexpected. Be cool if someone like Brayton or Wilson took advantage of said craziness and started the year off with a bang. I don’t really care to be honest. Just hope they all get out of it in 1 piece.

The happiest I could be when all is said and done is Kenny winning, Reed and Wilson on the podium. I’m not holding my breath on that one though..

Hey I just thought, every year we hear “most stacked field ever”, well this year we only have 1 former SX champ out there.. so is this the least stacked field ever? Lol what a selling point that would be.

450 will be someone who overall wont be a title contender. Anderson, maybe Martin, or Wilson.

In 250s it will be Mcelrath.

No clue though, especially 250 there are like 10 guys that wouldn't surprise me if they won

250 is a is very tough decision based on the entry list. You have upwards of 5+ race winners in there. It all comes down to the start, so with that said it's hard to bet against the Pro circuit guys since they're excellent starters. I'll give this one to AC.

450 is a not as wide open in my opinion. Sure, we'll see guys mixing it up with the top guys, but the cream always rises to the top. I'm going with Marvin just due to his insane rides as of late and sky high confidence. I do think KR will podium and at this point in the season, that's a win. Eli will be up there as well IF he stays out of his own head.

My prediction
One guy will win, everyone else will justify their performance by saying "it's the first race of the year, you can never really judge by the first race.....blah blah blah"

250 Class: Craig is my pick for A1 and Cianciarulo winning the title.

450 Class: Roczen with a holeshot and victory. This season could easily be like 2011 with 3 to 4 riders fighting for the title.

450 - my pseudo long shot prediction would be baggett.

250 - I hope to see Craig and AC podium regularly.

Also curious to see what kind of mental state savatgy is in given the back to back championship giveaways he’s executed.

Same as last year both classes, but Musquin will dominate 450's. I dont see Roczen being much of a factor till outdoors.

450:
Musquin
Baggett
Tomac

250:
Osborne
A Martin
Forkner

Anybody know how tough the whoops are at A1? That will definitely impact my pick for the win. If easy whoops, going MM25. If tough whoops, going ET3.

I have given Baggett some grief in the past, but i was bummed he got hurt outdoors last year, i think he can and will rattle Eli.

I'm going to go conservative here.. It's between Reed and Barcia.

Red Bull and Monster on the 450 podium, but top of the Mountain goes to Baggett.

450: tomac because i havent seen anyone else REALLY challenge him consistently in 2017.

250: AC. I took 2017 as his first year back and almost a 2nd rookie season. this year he will be much stronger. Im expecting him to have slight edge over hill. No blowout by any means.

I reckon Ralph or Jeff will say "Through all the adversity!!" , when regarding roczens arm or another injury. It seems the guys can't come up with another word to avoid sounding repetitive.

Kenny will be SO triggered if he reads this thread! Sideways Only THREE of you think he will win?

I'm picking Marv too. I've said it before - we will see a new #25 this season.
