He was gonna come up short for sure but he had decent fwd momentum and that crest was well rounded. Personally, I'd have ridden that one out. Just my .02.

If he was coming up that short with the front end up he could have rode it out, but the way the front end dropped off the take-off, that bike was gonna cartwheel whether he was on it or not, good move bailing for sure. Glad to see him walk away!

It looks like he tried to click 4th off the lip and like you said, went into a false neutral.

Caleb Carter is pretty fast, luckily he knows how to ditch a bike without getting caught up in it. We've seen some bad crashes where the legs get caught underneath the bars.
