Good thing that he bailed and landed as he did.

|

There's something happening here, what it is ain't exactly clear.

7/6/2018 1:22 PM

You win some, you lose some... under the circumstances that was definitely a win. if he didn't make it over the crest of the landing he would've been ruined!

I thought the same thing. Had he not made it to the other side, that would have been really ugly.

When hitting the eject button goes right... awesome to see him jump up and walk it off.

Right, someone needs to buy that kid a couple beers. That’s gonna be a good story when he’s old!

|

7/6/2018 1:38 PM

He was gonna come up short for sure but he had decent fwd momentum and that crest was well rounded. Personally, I'd have ridden that one out. Just my .02.

If he was coming up that short with the front end up he could have rode it out, but the way the front end dropped off the take-off, that bike was gonna cartwheel whether he was on it or not, good move bailing for sure. Glad to see him walk away!

Washed up moto and enduro weekend warrior.

7/6/2018 2:09 PM

Was that his first time attempting it? He must have hit a hole in the face to not get any pop out of his front forks, right?

|

7/6/2018 2:09 PM

He hit false neutral between 3rd and 4th.

|

7/6/2018 2:20 PM

Front end stayed together too.

|

vomiting equals disqualification.

7/6/2018 2:36 PM

His ktm frame must have certainly snapped into a thousand pieces.

If there is damage, will his dealer go to bat for him and get Kato to cover it next year when cracks appear or are just discovered?

Have you riden Redbud? The take off to that jump is so large it's literally impossible to "not get any pop".

a false neutral would definitely explain that nose dive...

It looks like he tried to click 4th off the lip and like you said, went into a false neutral.

Caleb Carter is pretty fast, luckily he knows how to ditch a bike without getting caught up in it. We've seen some bad crashes where the legs get caught underneath the bars.

Ruining a brand new bike = $8000.00

Or.....

Staying on it to try and save it.....$300,000.00 medical bills.

He came way out a head in what " could have happened! He should be throwing a party after that.

And there goes Jeffro. One of God's own prototypes. A super high-powered mutant of some kind never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die.

How posting entertaining content receives only a single down vote is a perfect example of why the thumbs up thumbs down is all wrong for a site like this. Totally wrong atmosphere for it.

Are you smart enough to buy a bike that costs less, weighs less, makes more horsepower per cubic centimeter, can be rebuilt for recycled aluminum can money and is giggle inducing? It is hard to believe that the American riding public flunks this test en masse. How stupid are you?
