Anyone tried to ride the Alta in snow and cold weather? How much is the battery life affected

I put Trelleborgs on mine, and rode it quite a bit over the winter, a couple times at below 0 F, and I had no problem with battery life. And it was way easier to get going on those cold days than a big bore 2-stroke! My other bike I ride in the winter is a KX500, which is very hard to start in the bitter cold.
