I’m not gonna lie, with the right colors schemes these could look badass. Really like the shape.

I have no doubt its a top quality product but I don't like the shape at all. I didn't like tech 10's when they first came out and now I love the shape so maybe it'll grow on me.

Only thing missing now is Alpinestars goggles.

Probably in the works.

Will we see Eli in one of these or is he tied in with Bell?
I'm sure that Alpinestars will want their riders in their helmet as soon as possible. Not sure when Tomac's deal with Bell expires but I think it was mentioned a while back that it's at the end of this year. Maybe it ended last year and he signed with them again?

I like everything but the mouthpiece. Something there is just too bulky and doesn't jive with the rest of the helmet.

Maverick, where did you find the red and black helmets with the stripe graphic? I haven’t seen that one before.

All of the new gear, boots, and helmets are on the Alpinestars website

Exactly and those aren’t on there.

Saved it from the Racer X gallery but I noticed it's not on the website. I'm sure they'll eventually make their way on there. Those are both production paint jobs.

Yeah maybe a spring colorway or something. They look killer.

I have a blue and orange one in my possession if anyone has detailed questions about the helmet or wants to see something specific. And one thing they didn’t really go into in the video is how the A-head system really changes the way the helmet fits. I’ve been showing the helmet for about 6 weeks and I’ve had probably 75 people try them on. The vast majority of people fit the helmet in the standard setup of the ahead. Then a few said there was maybe pressure in the forehead or something so I’d change the position and in every case you’d see the surprise on their face because I was always able to get the helmet to fit the particular person if the helmet was their size. Also sizing seems pretty true, maybe just a slight hair on the big side if at all.

UFO Helmets are made in Italy in their own facility. Who knows maybe they manufacture the Alpinestars helmet?

@Spooner You have one in your possession. Do you mind taking a pic of the tag and posting it?

It’s China. Also snagging it out of the bag reminded me that it does come with a spare visor as well.

The other graphic is called Dyno. And helmets will start shipping to dealers by the end of the month but if your dealer didn’t pre-order them it will be pretty tough to get one most likely.

From some angles I think they look great and other angles not so much!
They've certainly made it so no custom painters will wanna go near them, that's an almost impossible tape job haha

Is it safer than a 6D in any way?
This is always subject to opinion in many ways. I know this was built to some new FIM standard that goes into effect for 2021 that directly specifies rotational impacts. According to Alpinestars this helmet exceeds the values it’s supposed to hit by double. I believe this is a new ECE test but I need to get clarification on that.

Also I weighed the helmet directly against all the main competitors and a few other popular helmets. It was a half pound lighter than the new 6d, bell flex carbon, shoei vfx evo, fly f2 and several others. They were all the same size as well.

Looks the business. I wonder if Eli, Anderson and Barcia will wear it? They have good relationships with Bell, Airoh and Arai respectively.

Astars have really stepped up their game in riding equipment (aside from boots) the past couple years so I'd have to say we can expect a couple more riders in head to toe Astars come Supercross.

On a side not I love the new Techstar Factory stuff, the fluorescence/green is mine come payday!

A-stars must've had the interns write that product page, holy fawkin words galore.

But another helmet in the game is a good thing.
