KTM's Ride Orange Demo Days are the closest that any of us can probably get to being a factory rider. Nothing beats showing up to the track with nothing but your gear and having a whole range of 2017 bikes to test out. I made a quick little video of the ride day at Village Creek MX here in Texas that took place yesterday.

Great edit! Guess I'll be the first to ask for a quick run down of comments about any of the bikes / if anything really stood out or surprised you

Nicely done! Yesterday was my first time going to one of these test days, pretty cool event. Wish I could have made it earlier to ride more, but I had work. Pinch

They are super fun! KTM really does a nice job at these, I have been to a Yamaha one as well, though on a much smaller scale. I wish the other manufactures would get on this program. I bought a Yamaha, because I was able to experience it first.

Nice!

So which one was your favorite???

I have a buddy that just picked up a 17' 250sx and I was able to take a spin on it last weekend. Really nice bike! Insane low end power for a smoker! I was impressed!

Glen Helen's KTM ride day experience was, for lack of a better word, broken.

Thanks for the compliments everyone! My main interest in riding these bikes was to check out the new AER fork. I found it be a definite step in the right direction from the 4CS, especially when it came to jumps and chop. I did find it to be a little bit unpredictable as far as front-end traction, though. I'm not sure if that's purely related to the fork, or a combination of track conditions, tires, etc.

As far as one bike I loved the most, the 150 is hard to beat! The 250f continues to impress me with its power delivery, which seemed more filled out than my 2016. The 250 two stroke feels so much more refined than my old 2013 did, and the power was so strong everywhere. The 350 still needs to be ridden like a 250f, it just has more power...everywhere. I didn't enjoy my time on the 450 too much, but that could be because I rode it directly after the 125. It felt like I was always between gears and trying to keep it from shooting out from under me. I think I would need more time on it to be comfortable. The 350 definitely felt like he best overall bike for me, but I'll be sticking with my 250F since endurocross is my priority.
