Never thought I'd see the day, but very happy about it. Doesn't seem like a total redesign but motor updates, new carb, new brakes, suspension updated along with the plastic. That's pretty sweet. Can't complain. I thought for sure they'd use the 250F swingarm, but not a big deal.
Leave it to the guy riding an '85 in his avi pic to complain about it being a warmed over '05 model. It's not for you then, we get it. But the rest of us are happy.
(not that there is anything wrong with riding an '80s bike)
So let me get this straight , you finally get Yamaha to update the 125 and you whine and bitch ?
Lame.
Kudos to Yamaha for not bnging the shit out of us again.
Plus you know what that means?
The 250 is bound to see updates soon too.
I’m gonna buy one just to promote them for putting in work.
Plus the chassis is so sweet even for me at 200lbs it’s the most fun bike I’ve ridden.
Fuel tank went from 2 gallon to 1.8. That kind of stinks for off-roaders. It would be really cool if they added e start and a bigger tank to the X models next year when I assume most of these updates will transfer.

Probably why they updated the engine for '22, eh?
"YZ125 is still ok... but needs engine updates, new ergos, and brakes. Then it will be sweet."
Vital today:
"YZ125 only got engine updates, new ergos, and brakes? Lame."

Might help also.
Pit Row
