Sad to hear that one of the coolest pups ever has passed on to ride in heaven. What a bummer.

Bummer, I remember riding at the Adelanto GP's with them.

Oh nooooo.
That dog has raced more moto than most people.

I remember a pic of a race..2 dudes stuck in a creek in the mud and water.
Opee and his Daddy blast right through no problem.
I think this was the same race.

that's the one bad thing about a dog, they never live long enough
It only just dawned on me how remarkable it was that he even used to wear a helmet haha what a legend!

RIP Opee

Pretty awesome life he got to live, I'm sure he doesn't look back on it and see any waisted time in a kennel or small confinement cause that dog lived life!! What a great master for giving him something special to live for, you can't look back at that n have anything to take it away. That's something special. He will rest with a doggy smile.

Wow that IS sad, talk about losing your all time favorite riding buddy! How lonely would it be for months to come afterwards?

RIP Opee.

Aw man. That hits home on another level. Man I wish dogs lived longer. The poor guys. So loyal and such a short life.

I remember seeing pics of him in the mags years ago, I've always been a lover of Goldens and have one currently. Keep the pics coming, I wish the best to the dog father and hope he hangs his head high knowing the great life he gave his pup.

Oh man that is sad to hear.
That guy must be crushed, losing a Dawg is tough and Opee was like no other.

RIP Opee, your legacy will live on forever.

Man, what a bummer. He was a regular around these parts, you would see him quite a bit at the races.

Well said man. I wish I could find a moto dog like that. The owner must of had some epic rides with Opee. That dog lived the best life ever! And so did his owner!

Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming "Holy shit! What a Ride!
RIP Opee.

The amazing thing is you can tell he's having a great time on that bike, big grin and not afraid. This is the sort of thing I'd like to see on the news instead of all the other crap. Roost in peace Opee!
