If Alex keeps riding the way he has been for the rest of the year (remaining SX rounds & outdoors); does anyone forsee him going to one of the major (Star Racing, Geico, etc...) 250 teams in 2016?

Most likely not Star, they'll still have Plessinger, Webb, Martin and I assume A-Rod next year. Now if they let A-Rod go and don't have some hot shot amateur coming up I could see it happen. Geico is doubtful, PC is doubtful, Rockstar I believe is only going to have 2 guys on 250's next year so I doubt that too. Maybe Crossland? He definitely has more potential than Kyle Peters. Otherwise I just expect him to be the main 250 RR guy once again.

I had the pleasure of pitting with Alex at the Freestone National a few years back when he was riding the Eleven10 Honda's. Great kid, well mannered and very disciplined on diet and training. He really seemed to not only have his head screwed on straight but he also seemed to have it properly calibrated.Smile Glad to see him doing well out there.

I'd like to see him get a shot.

Side note; I think its interesting to see people naming the "big name" teams in the 250 class without mentioning Mitch's team. Sign of the times in that class, I guess.

GD2 Mentioned PC. But your point still stands. I think PC is still every bit of bike as it once was but other teams are just catching up.

Good catch, didn't see that. I was more refering to the OP's post but you are 100% right. The PC bike is great, the other teams are building stronger bikes now, but the big thing is these other teams are scooping up the riders early and not leaving the option open for Mitch and others to try to hire them AFTER their amateur career (with the exception of AC, signed early). Just bench racing food for thought, that class has improved alot over the past few years.

Factory KTM
GEICO
STAR Racing
Monster/PC Kawasaki
TLD KTM
Rockstar Husqvarna

Just to name a few that could win a race on ANY weekend

Man, their dad was such a badass on an enduro bike back in the day. I wore glasses back then, so seeing him wearing them made me a fan lol. Give me a break, I was 12 years old.
