Do you guys think Alessi will change his mind about racing the Canadian nationals now that Villopoto may not be racing?

I think they'll stay on the course of what they had planned originally. I think their decision was more based on the overall vibe they have in the states more so than the results. And I think they see Canada as a freshish start.

The reason I say that is RV isn't the only guy that has shown the speed to be Mike. I don't think Allessi can beat Dungey still and he still has JS7 ahead of him. And it's questionable if he can beat another 4 to 5 guys. He is a top 10 guy with or without RV there. If RD and JS were injured in addition to RV, I'd say they might change their mind and take a chance.

Good point, Im bummed about the nationals for this year, I wanted to see everyone duke it out. RV, Reed, Millsaps, Alessi, Stewart, Dungey, Canard, Barcia, Tomac, Roczen. Could you imagine how fun that would have been to watch? Atleast the 250's may still be interesting...

Why would he ? Even if RV didn't race the nationals Alessi still would not win. He has a better chance in Canada.

How does Alessi do in the sand? I can't really remember. We have a lot of sand tracks on the East end of our series...

I was referring to RV, Reed, Millsaps, Tickle, Brayton, Hill, Alessi and whoever I may have forgot all missing the Nationals. Not just RV. So your attempt to insult me is invalid.

Metcalfe did 2 full seasons of 450 MX in the US nationals and finished ahead of Alessi both times in the final points. Brett has a year under his belt already in Canada to learn how the Canucks do things. Couple that with Brett being very good in the sand races and I would guess he would be the favorite but not by a huge margin.

Brett has a big advantage by already racing the series - I really doubt Mike will beat him. Metcalf will defend his title successfully.

Finally someone said it. Colton up here ,healthy is fast enough to win the title.

Mike is a strong contender no doubt but he'll have a fight on his hands.

LOL sorry but Millsaps,Tickle and Hill wouldnt even be on the radar and Brayton would be hot and cold. So you will just have to watch the 250s because the 450s will be boring.LaughingLaughing

I think Metty will win again , Alessi will win a few but I dont think he can put together a full season with out a major brain fart. If Tony and Jeff are there then he has even less of a chance with those two clowns around.

Some of you act like it's a sealed deal that if RV races he will win the title.

Although he has won every outdoor title he has finished. He's a pretty good bet.

er, 2.

The number one thing I want to see happen in the moto world this summer, is for Colt to stay healthy & get a full season in.
