Just wondering if there is any truth to the rumor. I see a lot of people saying Savatgy will get the second spot next to Tomac for one year and then its Adam's. I'm a big fan of Adam and if he stays healthy then I think he will have a very successful career on big bikes

With the loyalty adam and kawi have towards each other id be willing to bet they put him on a 450. I think a healthy adam with a full year under him will pull much better results than joey.

Savatgy won’t get a top 450 offer I wouldn’t think. I’d say a Bogle type career is his absolute peak. Which is obviously amazing in the grand scheme of things. Just not worthy of a top factory ride.

I think Joey will perform much better than Grant has, and won't be an easy choice to unseat for 2020.

AC is going to be eligible for 250 class again in 2020 no matter what he does in '19 so it's not stamped he's 450 in 2020 although I know he wants to go. Lots of things could happen, including Joey killing it and Kawi saying to AC "Hey man, what's another year in 250's?"

But when he goes 450's, no doubt in my mind that he stays green. They love him for many reasons.

Thats how pretty much every factory team works. They can't afford Two guys that will contend for wins. Typically every factory team will hire a big name (big dollar) guy to contend for wins and a second guy that can consistantly put the bike in the top 10. How do you think Weston Peick has been and will continue to be employed by top factory teams...

After hearing the Pourcel/RV story it occurs to me they purposefully hire somebody that isn't fast enough to beat their main guy. Avoids a lot of tensions, I am sure.

It seems just as simple as putting two and two together, they’re already on the same program, Kenny, AC and don’t forget that Cole is in the group as well. With Cole’s future uncertain at the moment (I think) there’s potential for AC to go there. However, if Joey doesn’t do something great on that 450, I see AC taking that spot over before anything else happens.
