Welp, not the news we were hoping for. AC is out for the remainder of Supercross with a knee injury.

I hope he takes time off and gets healthy. In my opinion if his shoulder was healthy he wouldn't have hurt his knee. He was doing everything he could to not fall to his arms. Hope the best either way - he's a badass for getting those results (and leading some laps) with a torn shoulder.

It's never the injury, it's the injury because you are compensating that screws you up. Gutted for him and wish it wasn't so. Hopefully he can come back fully. Hell, I'd be all for sitting out the entire season and work on changing the body up to take these beatings better and to fully heal. I would love to see a season of AC at 100%.

I really like AC as a person and racer but it's so hard to stop the pattern for him, got to be tough mentally.

Same as it has been for fast guys like Canard, Reynard, Wilson and the list goes on...

Unreal that i'm seeing comments from people saying AC should retire. WTF is wrong with people? Shocker, this is a dangerous sport where people get injured. Grow up.

I'm not a huge fan of him. But I definitely didn't want to see this guy hurt. Real bummer he can't get his injury prone career to turn around. Same problem with Canard, Very fast and then injuries.

At least he will have plenty of time to heal up before he gets hurt outdoors

Can't catch a break. Top 3 guy in terms of raw speed.

In regards to Adam, its hard not to be one of those that was thinking this from the start of 2022.
Poor bastard can't catch a break. No pun intended.

I didn't think anyone was saying to retire. I think he needs to take time off and get healthy and ride at 100%.

Gutted for the kid. I remember watching him just destroy the field on his 65 at Mini Os one year. Just so far ahead. I’m sure none of us are as bummed as he is. Hopefully he can make it back for outdoors, but from the way it sounds, it could be the entire year.

Poor bastard is made of glass. Gonna be a coulda, would, shoulda footnote in racing history. Damn shame cause he's a smart young man with a lot of potential. This sport can break even the strongest. Bummer.

I’m no statistician, maybe someone is..? I’d be curious to know what his stats are for making it a full series? His making it a full year (sx&mx) of racing must be very low. It’s unfortunate because it’s certainly better with him out there.

He basically made it healthy through a full year of racing twice (2017 and 2019). But whenever he is healthy he is a title contender. So much talent.

Will they replace him? Like with Soubeyras for example?

Hopefully he has enough time to start outdoors at 100%. That’s probably wishful thinking.

I doubt Mitch is interested in giving Forkner an extra opportunity to pile drive himself out of another championship.

I’m a big Webb fan. The first two years on Yamaha were rough. Crashes and little injuries in 2017, came in hurt in 2018 before A1, ended up breaking his leg. Point being, Coops first two years were rough. AC has a longer history of injuries, but hoping for brighter days for AC.

I feel like AC needs a change in scenery with a different team. Nothing wrong with the kawi, I just think he needs a fresh start somewhere. I know it's not realistic but would like to see him on a Honda.

Forkner just started riding SX 3 days ago. He is nowhere near ready to jump on a 450.

Deteriorating shoulder and NOW a knee injury?

Heal up AC Sad
Knee because of the shoulder. It looked like he swapped in the whoops because he couldn't keep his shoulder was rolling.
