Pretty sure in 2008 i think it was, he was the highest paid Australian sportsman and was the highest paid SX rider.
He rocked up to MX awards night in an all white Versace suit and turned up to the Supercross in a privet helicopter hahaha

Those things have to be bullshit. Guy has 36 mill in assets, and still plays golf? Sure. F1, sure. Tennis, yep. Chess player, sure.

Motocross? Hell No. If Roczen had 36 mill he'd be as gone as Bubba..

At the live pulp show they were discussing about how much rv2 has in the bank. Steve heard a number around 40 mil in The bank... not sure if it’s true or not but RV won a lot of titles in a very short amount of time. Chad has been around for a VERY long time and has had some high dollar deals and good sponsors along the way, and some championships to add. I’d say the number sounds right but Daniel Riccardo surely has more than that...

Pretty sure a lot of his money is from real-estate in AUS. I read 60mil a couple years ago

well considering that 360 fly cam sponsors was 3mil.. I dare say that hasn't been his biggest sponsor over the years..
Think back to the days of Reed at Thor. That contract would of been some serious $$$$

His contract with the Red Bull F1 team isn't as big as people think. This year he's "only" earning $6 million.

2012: 500k
2013: 500k
2014: 850k
2015: $1.7 million
2016: $6.5 million
2017: $6.5 million.
2018: $6 million
Total: $22.55 million

That said he's moving up to the big leagues next year. His 2 year deal at Renault is reportedly for $35 million a year.

First thing that stood out when I scanned through the first post. I don't follow F1 to much but it seems like has never had the best relationship with the team

Surprised he resigned with them.

These sites are clueless. They are just clickbait.

I think they are in pretty good direction. Like Riocciardo, he earns about 6 million a year at Red Bull. Pretty good money for somebody who never won a championship and probably never will. Chad had some real good seasons, with super sponsor deals. If he invested it in real estate than I think he's good for 25-40 million.

When JS7 lists the track property with houses for sale, or starts racing again, or starts wanting a job announcing, you'll know the money is running out.

James owns a very successful gear company. I can guarintee hes making much more off that than he did yearly in mx. Its a constant stream of income also which means hes not burning savings.

could be hsi base salary , with bonus for every point or racewin ...

Webber made 10 mill at RedBull in 2008 , pretty sure Ricciardo get paid more as 6 mill at end of season .

Same goes for Max Verstappen , also has base salary of 6 mill with lot of bonus options
for every point he makes 50.000 , a 250.000 extra for a win ..
Max has 191 points at the moment , makes a 9.55 million bonus alone

Where did those 360 Fly numbers come from?
I did hear him tell Ricky that Suzuki wrote him a check for 5 mil, for winning that 450 outdoor title back in '09? RC seemed a little wtf about it, haha.

First, you have no idea if the gear company is profitable and no idea how much income he needs to meet expenses. You just made all of that up.

Second, what the hell does that have to do with Chad Reed?

The speculation at the time was that Chad was on about $5-6m for his SX contract. As far as salary I think he may have raced outdoors basically for free, but he took out one of those winnings policies, which paid about $2m.

I recall at the time that Chad said he made more money that year from his investments than from riding bikes, which would put his income that year in the $12m+ range.

Well i wasn't making up the 5 mil claim on the outdoor title, he said it right in front of me. Either way, he's power loaded and i'm not...

I can "guarintee" you this is not the case, and it may well be the exact opposite.
