Im happy to see Nichols have a good year but cmon this is ACs.
The kid won his entire life, won right away his rookie year multiple times, got red plate, looking like business as usual...
Gets squirley in 1 whoop section and crashes hard... then keeps crashing nonstop and has his world demolished for 3 years, became a non factor, moved on from, relegated to yet another amateur that didnt pan out.
Then through pure hard work grit balls n determination he rose back to the top of the sport a 2nd time, now hes winning again, red plate... fastest 250 rider again, top of the class. To rise to the top of the sport once is hard, but twice... insane. Major respect.

I normally like the underdog and would root against AC. But always been a fan. Kid has never acted like a premadonna (sorry spelling). Like some one said above. Had adversity many times same 2014. So glad he seems to be putting it together. He looked so calm all day.
Hopefully he can start with this title and start moving up the ranks with championships like we thought he would.
