And then there was this...
I'll be keeping an eye on round 2. It's good entertainment and good for the series.
Mike struggled big time at the opener, but I think some bike changes and learning and he'll be much better going forward. Gared on the other hand came in very prepared and looked great the whole time. They both have some serious work ahead of them to catch Peters though if the opener was any indication. He had his starts and his riding completely locked in.
The Shop
Update: just watched the video and it was pretty mild for a Arenacross take out if you even want to call it that
Mike didn't flip anyone off. He was waving his hand back saying "sorry".
After the race he tried to say sorry again but Gared didn't want any part of it.
In the 450 heat Gared had a few chances to punt Mike back and didn't take them, but Mike's head was on a swivel the whole race worried about it.
A little drama never hurts and I find the Believe the Hype shirts funny personally. Let's hope this is a nice rivalry we can watch all year long, but that it doesn't go too far.
I raced several seasons of the Amsoil series at the pro level in the early-Mid 2000s and it looks about the same now as it did then.
Let’s not rush to put down riders now to make ourselves feel better for being old...
Pit Row
This is a lame “takeout” for AX

He`s still a giant twat
Yawn.
