Anyone see all the drama between Steinke and Alessi? I’m 100% not surprised by any of it. Drama seems to be close behind one, if not both of them most days.

I saw that Stank beat Alessi a bunch. Is that the drama?

I'll be keeping an eye on round 2. It's good entertainment and good for the series.
Mike struggled big time at the opener, but I think some bike changes and learning and he'll be much better going forward. Gared on the other hand came in very prepared and looked great the whole time. They both have some serious work ahead of them to catch Peters though if the opener was any indication. He had his starts and his riding completely locked in.

I just saw some hi lights on IG. Alessi put people on the ground and flipping them off through Rythm sections
Alessi was saying that wasn't intentional putting Gared on the ground, those weren't middle fingers. Stank proceeded to ride like a fool the rest of the moto. Its AX and pro level racing, don't leave the door that open on the first lap and not expect to get moved.

Awesome, we need some excitement again.
Update: just watched the video and it was pretty mild for a Arenacross take out if you even want to call it that

Gared about crashed leaving the whoops and recovered faster than Mike expected, the hit left Gared on the ground.
Mike didn't flip anyone off. He was waving his hand back saying "sorry".
After the race he tried to say sorry again but Gared didn't want any part of it.
In the 450 heat Gared had a few chances to punt Mike back and didn't take them, but Mike's head was on a swivel the whole race worried about it.
A little drama never hurts and I find the Believe the Hype shirts funny personally. Let's hope this is a nice rivalry we can watch all year long, but that it doesn't go too far.
That event was literally something that would happen in your “golden years” of AX so you should enjoy it.

I raced several seasons of the Amsoil series at the pro level in the early-Mid 2000s and it looks about the same now as it did then.
Let’s not rush to put down riders now to make ourselves feel better for being old...
My comment had nothing to do with the event or either riders ability- the promotors put on a great event and both riders are way faster than I could even come close to . It was purely around the "takeout", if you could even call it that.
Steinke is a douche bag. The guy is a stoner. Maybe if he gave up the stupid shit and concentrated on racing he would be better...

While from every personal experience I have had with him in our teen years would lead me to say he is a douche, who cares if he smokes weed. He’s making a living riding a bike which is further than I made it, and any current experiences with him lead me to believe he did grow up quite a bit.
You're a twat. Mike grew up and is a good dude that loves racing dirt bikes. He's even being a good sport about the shirts Steinke is selling. A little rivalry is good for the sport.
