It works for me.

Either way, I LOVE that track. Corners and speed sections!!

Did you see the crash off the start on the left hand side?!! Man!!

That is an AWESOME video. Forgive me for not understnading on the account of not being born yet, but I love it how after he's done with the race he pulls up the the ghetto looking cargo van, with the mechanics and their janitor style jump-suits, and the trophy girl is covered from head to toe (no cleavage). Haha, love this kind of classic footage though. Is there more like this, like an archive for old-school moto videos?

they looked like they were hauling ass to me, without big jumps though i guess you don't the big suspenders. longer travel just makes the bumps bigger i suspect.

damn that's a fast track- I don't care what you're riding, you can't go down those downhills but so fast...

big nuts to do it on 5"'s of travel

Awesome to watch his style! Not to mention that he drank a Weihenstephaner Heffe Weisse Belgian cold one at the end. I had a 16oz of that the other night.

If you want more vintage, ere's all the vintage racing you can handle, everything from GPs back in the 40s up to MC in the 90s. This is an incredible DVD put together by Gary Semics. It even has old home movies of Brad Lackey as a kid racing in the mud, DeCoster in his first few seasons, Tibblin, Hallman etc.
I was mesmerized watching this thing. I can't believe how fast and ballsy those riders in the 40s and 50s were. They are flying.

That's the sort of thing that makes the sport so cool.

What's amazing is that there wasn't a single semi trailer in sight, but it still didn't seem to ruin the fan experience!

let's see what's wrong with this video:

1) crappy camera work, no helmet cam
2) No half nekkid womens
3) no banners making it impossible to see the track
4) no 150' triples

and most importantly...a novice on a 450 would've smoked 'em!

seriously, thanks for the vid booby. that's good stuff.

Decoster puts his Suzuki past "the goal line" or today we would say the Monster Energy AMA FIM DMG Toyota Motocross Finish Line and into the "factory Suzuki pits" some Euro van to chug a beer Awesome stuff.

Life sure was simple back then.

man, thanks for the vid Bobby, that was awesome. The slow-mo bit of them working the downhill about halfway through was cool. Roger D, classic, and yeah, I liked the post-race cool-down drink Wink

So? Big deal. Those old movies are sped up. An intermediate on a new 450 could easily beat them.
