ANTI GRAVITY replacement battery reviews

Edited Date/Time 3/17/2021 6:19am
Hello,

to add to the new honda issues, my OEM battery came defective and Honda Canada is taking forever on replacement. I found a dealer who has an anti gravity replacement for 150$.

Anyone ever have issues with them?

I cant speak for that brand but I can speak for Shorai batteries. I have used them for a while with amazing results.

People spend literally thousands of dollars to drop the amount of weight you’ll drop with that upgrade for a small investment.
It’s high center of mass weight as well.
The battery also has a higher specific discharge meaning it will start easier as well.
Spend some extra cash and get a battery specific type charger for the one you decide on and it will give you plenty of long life.

I bought one for my KTM Super Duke and it's been great, even after sitting for months. Much smaller and lighter than the stocker. Would buy again!

Probably very little difference in weight. The Honda comes with a light battery.

i can't speak to the Anti-Gravity batteries but i put an EarthX in my 300 and am severely disappointed. it didn't even last the first day after having a full charge at the start of the day of a 3 day ride. i went with the EarthX after reading glaringly positive reviews.

I've got a 4 cell on my street bobber/chopper bike scooter, been great thus far.

Extremely small and light weight.

Pretty sure the Star Yamaha team runs them?

Just had the "Build Discussion" with Joe (Xeno on Vital) over at JCR Speed for my 2019 CRF 450X build for this year's Rip to Cabo...

They're installing an Anti-Gravity in it.

I have bought and used Shorai, Battery Tender, and Tusk and all work well and are still in use.
Their all made in China anyway. But

+1 for Anti Gravity, in a 450 and a 501 with zero issues. Solid product.

I've been kicking around ordering one of these up for quite awhile, I like the looks of the one with the 'Re-start' option.

My AntiGravity battery has been an awesome upgrade so far, really don't think you can go wrong with it. Grab a proper LiOn charger and you'll be set.

So I’m waiting on a new Honda 450. What are guys using to “fill” the space in the box from these batteries to keep it from bouncing around?

I just bought it and its almost half the width, it comes with bumpers so I will report back tonight when I work on it. Was very surprised on it

If I remember correctly, mine shipped with a foam kit in the box.

I have been using Anti Gravity jump packs for years. I carry a small pocket size one when I go on rides. More often I help people out and do my good dead for the day. Great product and good service.

WPS and Shorai are the only two batteries I would buy any more. They are the best , hands down and they last 4-5 years with no charging.

I’ve had the same anti gravity battery in my shovelhead chopper for 7 years... I’ve never once had to charge it! And for 6 months of the year it sits I’m my below freezing garage. Amazing battery, I’m going to put one in my 2020 yz450

I can't speak for their motorcycle batteries, but anyone I know who has put an Anti-Gravity in their Porsche loves them. And if anyone knows Porsches, you know modern ones eat batteries so easily.

I installed the battery in my works edition last night, had to cut down a pad in half. Put it back in the sleeve and slid it in the box. Hooked it up and started right away.
