AMA Supercross 2017 Livestream Season Pass

Looks like international viewers will be able to see all SX live with a season pass for $99.99

Except Daytona.

Thats great news to be honest!

The price of a single event is pretty expensive though, $19.99 (A1 is $25.99) while a single weekend MXGP-TV pass cost $8 this year.

26$ for one evening, wow
Still it's cool to be able to stream the whole season.
Hope it works, I bought it for the MEC and it was pretty shitty. I ended up using some stream on the internet where you have to click away 20 ads - and it was still better quality and with less problems

$25 for A1 and Vegas, $20 for the rest of the season. OR $100 for all 16 rounds. We get they're trying to sell a full season subsrciprion but damn.

$6.25 per race on the season pass.
$330 for all the races individually.

That's a HUGE difference

Thats a crazy single race price! Is the sub sold by Feld or Fox? I stream on the fox sports go app and it works well as long as ly internet connection is up to snuff. Hope the international stream is good as well.

Not a chance I pay for streaming. I'll use Kodi , it usually works pretty well

Atleast i'm happy to see them come up with something for livestreaming for 2017. I'll likely get the season pass so i'm all setup for a good winter Cool

I think this will put an end to Slicknick activity...

Is it only a live stream? Or are there on demand options to watch the race a day or so later?

I'm not sure if they'll have on demand options.

A few years ago they streamed all of the Official sx races on https://livestream.com/SupercrossLIVE and you can to this day still go back and watch these races there. So i guess you'll be able to do so also if you pay for the livestream event for 2017.

Las Vegas SX use to be live via pay per view back before there were regularly live broadcasted races. I believe it was much more expensive than $25.

The season pass is the same price as MXGP. Maybe slightly cheaper because I think that is €100.

Won't buy before I know it works better than the MEC stream, which was awful.

Good news if it does!

Don't moan. This is great news. We've all wished they'd do this for years.

If that's HD and streams perfect then I'm in! But it will suck to pay that and have it be shitty. The races give me an excuse to go to the bar anyway.

I'd be up for it, if it's the same set up as the mxgp TV, no adverts, watch races at later times.
Anyone know if that's how it's going to be?

I think I read it will be live and then on demand for a week after the race. If it's good quality and no lag, $99 is fair price.

I hope this streaming isnt the only way to watch it internationaly. Foxtel coverage here in Australia is pretty good generally.

As an international viewer and being frustrated the last years trying to find a stream, links and so on I am happy to hear that and since I dont really watch TV I don't have cable or sattelite TV just a good Internet to watch what I really want to, this is a good thing and I definitely going to get the pass. I am looking forward to watch Anaheim 1 not being frustrated haha 6 USD it's not bad for each race I think

I just hope the quality is good!

6 USD is good. These prices aren't nearly that good though.

6 USD would be if you pay the total package which I think it's pretty good and it will be up one week.

I dumped our satellite tv a few months ago and hadn't missed it at all but I would have been stuck with YouTube or dodgy streams during SX season. So now I can subscribe to SX, also get Netflix for about a 1/4 of what I used to pay. Win win.

So, am I to understand "fans outside US and a Canada " to mean that the internet pass is not available within the US to cord cutters?

Good catch! You may be on to something.

I've mentioned it a couple of times, so honestly I'm not trying to sound like a broken record, but for you cord cutters (like myself) get live TV with Playstation Vue. You can go month to month for about $35 and you can watch the races that way. There are several perks to go with it, like a bunch of channels, credentials to "sign in" for services that require it (like the portable app versions of ESPN, etc), and you get to watch the races.

And then there are option's of using proxy's like Hola.

I bought this the other day. That you only get a week to watch it, and it's not archived is piss poor in this day and age, but, I'm (hopefully) done with chasing different streams etc.

I really hope that we don't have the Ad load that Cable watching brings, but I'm not that confident on that - think of the old line :" they couldn't orgainise a piss up in a brewery", or "hookers in a brothel". That's the great thing about that bastards Luongo's set up - no ads, and lots of racing , Plus, archiving of all the races.

I'm happy to pay for good coverage - SX is not that 'vital' to me, but I'll pay for coverage.

An interesting thing I saw in DC's column this week when he spoke about the SX deal, is it May be coming this season to his Outdoor season. Take My Money DC!!!!!!!!!!! Just give us archiving of the races, for our money.

the great thing about the mxgp on demand package is that one can re-watch the races in the off season again. so I'm definitely not going to pay for something only to be able to watch something for one week.
