AER48 on the Alta Redshift MX?

I heard rumors that the 2018 Alta Redshift MX will come with the AER48 fork. Can anyone confirm that? I may be in the market for one but hated the 4CS forks on the bikes I demo'd. I was planning on either sourcing a set of AER48's off a KTM/Husky or putting CV's on it. If they make the switch from the factory, it may just seal the deal for me.

They will be coming with AER forks, but we have not received word on a delivery date of the 18's. Alta rep has said they are on a calendar year unlike the other brands.

Calendar year meaning we'll have to wait until January/February for the new bike?

Any update on battery life? A 45 minute moto limit before needing to charge is holding me back right now.

I called their factory the other day. They said the now 10.5k 2018 redshift keeps the 4cs forks.

They said to check the website in early February for some exciting news, then I saw on their Facebook page the other day something about being “lighter, longer lasting, and more powerful”. Guessing they will be releasing a new model in February?

Supposed to be coming with AER, that said you can get one with the 4cs for so cheap that it'd be easy to come up the cash for cone valves. Or ohlins. Or whatever you prefer.
