AC92 stays with PC for his first couple years on a 450?

I know PC is a lights team, but I think if Mitch has any want for a 450 title, AC is a great rider to try with. He didn’t have much luck with Tickle I know. I think this is completely different. I see big things to come for AC on 450’s. Any chance of this happening?

I have no idea if Mitch wants a 450 title or not but I think if he starts competing directly with factory Kawasaki for premier class championships there would be some tension between the two teams. You'd think that as long as a championship is won on a Kawasaki that everything would be roses but I don't think that's the case. It's no secret that there was some tension between Yoshimura Suzuki and RCH when they were both around.

I'll start by saying I dont know 100% of the story but if i recall correctly mitch has no interest in a 450 program, and the only reason tickle was on a PC 450 was because he pointed out of the 250 class but still had another year remaining on his pro circuit deal so mitch built him a 450 for the remainder of his contract.

Seems like he is perfectly Happy with his accomplishments
And would like to get Back to winning Some more 250 championships, that's what I gather from things I've read and heard Podcasts etc, I get what your saying A.C. is a great rider Trains hard etc
But Man is the 450 class looking Stacked right now I would hardly Call it a shoo in , I'd say 50/50 chance at this point
Have seen the starting list of the Current 450 class for 2019

AC needs a 250 title before we go calling him a contender for the 450. He’s awesome no doubt but let’s not get ahead of our selves.

Tickle was on a 450 because he pointed out and couldn’t defend his 250 title although he had another year on his contract. Factory Kawi didn’t have any room on the team so Mitch honored his contract and out Tickle on a 450 for the following season.

Absolutely correct, it will be a few years for sure before he is a consistent top three finisher. That’s if he stays healthy. As everyone knows, In this sport there is no way to predict anyone’s career. I was just curious on other peoples thoughts there is no way this would happen. Correction there is a 1% chance this would happen.

I could do that.

In Mitch’s podcast he said it’s too difficult to have a 450 guy because during the 450 races they are working and can’t watch the race etc, he said he would basically need a second team of people for just one guy in the 450s.

I think AC because of his size is going to be a better 450 rider

Pro Circuit has run in the 450 class more than the one year in 2012 with Tickle. They ran a 450 outdoor program the next year in 2013 for both Tyla Rattray and Dean Wilson. Wilson only raced the first 2 rounds, Rattray raced 11 round and finished 12th in 450MX points.

They also ran a support-type effort with Sean Hamblin in 2005 on a KX250 that went awful, 24th in SX points, 21st in MX.

If AC wins a title next year he will move up Kawasakis 450 team, that is a done deal.
9/23/2018 7:44pm
I think the plan for awhile has been for AC to be on Factory Kawi when he went to 450s. Now if contracts didn’t line up or there wasn’t a spot available anywhere then sure, he probably stays at PC. But I’d imagine Kawi makes room for him at the factory rig when he moves up.

Or do Honda throw the Kitchen sink at him? If AC wins both titles next year which he is more than capable of, there will probably be a pretty decent bidding war going on. Cole Seely just signed a 1 year deal. Could be interesting times next silly season. Also probably get pretty interesting down at the Nest/Sandbox/whatever they call it now.

So you can confirm the rumour of AC going Red next year is 100% false?

Mitch has only been interested in a 450 program if someone else is paying the bill. He has never actively sought being a direct competitor to his OEM. The Tickle deal was down to honoring a contract.

Just curious....at which point did you have to win a 250 title to be a contender in the 450 class?

So what about Joey? One year deal? Which would be totally fine with me , because I can't stand the fucking guy.

I thought the Savatgy 1 year deal thing was common knowledge. Almost as common knowledge as your dislike for Joey haha.

I kinda hope Joey performs well and earns another year. Imagine a Honda super team of Roczen, Cianciarulo, and Seely. Think of the Vlogs they could churn out of there.

Your title needs a questionmark at the end.
And no, most likely not.

Everyone gets on Joey for not deserving the factory 450 ride . But people are mad to see A.C. on the 450 . Yet Joey result s are prob better than A.C. has done

I was going to call BS on your post, then realized that Emig never won a 125 SX or MX title, but went on to win one 250 SX title, and two 250 MX titles. Also, it doesn't appear that Stanton ever won a 125 SX or MX title despite going on to win 6 titles on a 250. I didn't start following the sport until the early 90's though.

How many guys have spent 6 years in the 250 class and done well on 450s?

The 250 class only had that name for a few years and EVERYONE universally bitched about it because it was so stupid. Yet even after they officially changed the classes to 250/450 I constantly notice fans, race commentators and racers still call it "Lites".

So glad you mentioned this, I thought i was the only one that noticed

Emig won 1992 Mx 125 title...Larocco had some bike issues and from what I've read rode more conservative in the second half of the series.
