Have to say, that was a crap move by AC. He should totally be docked for pulling that move. But still doesn't get the night back for Shane either. If you watch the replay of the start that focuses on Shane you can see he gets totally effed by the giant tuff block that AC mows over. This incident set off a bad main for McElrath and we have a less interesting title fight as a result.

Honestly I am starting to doubt AC92's craft. He can burn a lap but between over-riding and bad decision making I don't see him taking any titles too soon. Indoor or outdoor.

Does anyone know if he has apologized for the incident? That was a legit bone head move.

I like AC, but I agree that this was really stupid of him.

It was the heat of the moment and I doubt there was too much logic involved. If anything, from his interviews AC seems nothing like a douche 99.9% of the time.

There should be large gaps on the inside of the exit of the corner...

And for that matter, they could probably do without them on the downsides of jumps, just the crest and the face so the riders have space to get out without a front wheel taking them down.

Yeah I know. But don't you reckon they've taken more riders out than anything else and that if a rider crashlands on the downside of a jump he's probably reasonably ok anyways?

Face of jump, ala Mookie this weekend, yep, great. But Bowers situation seems to be avoidable... And gaps to re-enter would probably help a lot ala Craig and AC also....

In both AX and SX the block placement has been terrible and has been ruining a lot of races for a lot of people. Something needs to be changed. Looks like they're always sticking out into the inside lines of corners and they always get hit and always just get put right back in the same spot to get hit again 5 more times throughout the race. Insanity much? And that's just one common example of poor placement theres several others.

I personally wish AC would cut the track every time just to get on the podium. His post race interviews alone are worth it.
