Just wondering why the overwhelming interest in GP riders coming “over” and the constant yearning for retired riders to come back rather than being content with what is available and real? Asking for a friend ?

I personally think it’s because there are a lot of people following the gps now In America and people are really digging the racing going on over there and even some that weren’t following before when they saw that Ironman race last year and what Herlings did it sparked a whole new level of enthusiasm for their riders and their series too!! Villopoto doesn’t even know how much he helped the sport from our side of the pond as there are plenty of people now that watch every mxgp race religiously now and prefer it over supercross hands down!!

I love the guys smile. La La La La La La La La La La La!
I've followed the GP's as best as I could ever Since the early 80's. But this past 3 - 4 years has been a time where I just won't miss watching a race. I can relate to it a lot more then SX.....because MX is what I do and love. SX is fine too....but I'll choose MX 365-24-7!
They have finished round 5.
They still have 15 qualifiers to run.
They still have 30 more motos to go.
AND.....huge bonus , we get EMX150 , 250 , 300 and WMX.
Wish this damn country would wake the F up!
And there goes Jeffro. One of God's own prototypes. A super high-powered mutant of some kind never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die.
Pimpin' Ho's , Rollin' fatty's......drinkin' beers , beers , beers!! ~ Ja
Couldn’t agree with you anymore Jeffro503 as those guys are pure gold for true motocross fans and the way those guys are fkT our hauling ass in some of the roughest tracks I’ve seen is beyond cool to be watching every weekend in hi def!! Then people wonder why someone like Herlings could show up here on borrowed bike , ride it for a couple oh hours , and then do what he did!! If those people that ask that question we’re watching their Mxgp series I think they would see real quick how he did it!! Tomac is my guy and all but if Herlings gets anywhere near him at des nations I’d say game over from what I’ve been watching this year!! Still be screaming for Eli tho and can’t wait !
Ditto in that as I hope I’m wrong too but after watching both of them week in and week out, they are flat out ne t level right now and I don’t think any of our national tracks will give them too many problems as you see some of the stuff they are racing on and still managing to be flat out flying!! Tomac loves red budd I know but I truest believe that Herlings will have him and everyone covered with time to spare!! When he gets a bad start he doesn’t bulkshit around and follow anyone’s line# as he just seems to open that bad boy up and blow by people like they are sitting there!!cant wait to be there!! Hopefully are guys will be healthy and ready to throw down and try and get chamberlain trophy back this year!!

Amen to that !
There's something happening here, what it is ain't exactly clear.
First year for me following the gps. I don't know why I never watched them before. Wayyyy good racing. Sx this year and last has been more like celebrity death match

This gives me opportunity to return to my basic theme: disband Supershit and pretend it never happened.
AMA motocross should be 18 to 20 events running from March through August. Maybe include events in Canada and Mexico. Maybe include an event in Europe that shares a weekend with MXGP (and have the USGP do the same).
AMA motocross could be a great series, but as long as they put most of their stock in bouncing up and down in stadiums on Mickey Mouse circuits, the smart crowd will watch MXGP.
F1. MotoGP. MXGP. Screw the rest.
