You got a lot of posts bro but we all know AC just needs to be ON A BIKE and some would say not crash too. I dont know shit but if hes pushin it crashing on 250s then idk might be worse on a 450..
It appears to me. Looks uncomfortable on that small displacement scooter.
He does look awkward on his bike, especially compared to how he looked in SX 2 years ago. I think it's just that he grew so freakin tall so fast he's still sorting out how to move on the bike with his new body. Hope he gets it sorted out though cuz he's so fun to watch when it clicks for him.
Imagine if Villopoto or Carmichael would've went thru the same growth spurt?
Do you think they would've went thru similar growing pains? AC at age 16 - 17 must've been similarly sized to RV and RC at the same age but they didn't gain additional height as AC has picked up over the past two years .
Reminds me of people saying " Malcolm's body size is cramped, tall, and/or too big for a 250f. He would be more comfortable on a 450." Or, "Malcom looks huge on that 250f." In context to physical size only.
He's fine. Pulling holeshots and showing excellent speed. A full season of seat time and he'll slowly start ironing out the little errors. I think what AC is showing right now is very positive.
I know our skill levels aren't even the least bit comparable but I'm 6'2" and weighted about 190 lbs when I had my last 250f (2005 crf) and I never felt the least bit cramped. I can't see the power being an issue either if he's qualifying first and pulling holeshots.
He needs to stay off of the ground. That's about all there is to it. He has the starts, he has the speed, he just needs to find the consistency and not make so many mistakes.
I have always thought it was stupid when people say someone looks to big for a 250f, height wise! The bikes are basically the exact same size. I think the KX450f is inch longer and a half inch taller. The yamahas are even closer I think. Not like going from a mini to a 125 lol! I'd bet money AC isn't the heaviest 250f rider on the circuit.

For a lot of models the bigger bikes have actually had lower seat heights over the years. Either way, there is not a bigger bike class... but if he was a fatty mcfatfuck you could argue more motor would maybe help him smooth and relax...

I totally agree, weight is the issue not height! Look at Travis Sewell, another tall kid that is fast!

Moisture-wicking fabric provides a soft, lightweight fit
If you are pulling holeshots, you are not too big for the bike/class.
Well, unless you're on a cheater bike...
He just needs to get a full season under his belt before ANYONE knows what is best for him imo
Seat time is what he needs and he is improving.

And no I'm not joking.
Pit Row
his problem is he hasnt had time on the bike period
Post a reply to: AC is riding too small a bike. Needs to step up to the open class
