Is that a sand turn... AND a jump where if u go inside and do a big whip you can land going 45* the other direction? Whoa...
Crazy interesting tracks..

Hmm, that 120* left turn to 45* right could be painfully one lined.
I bet the jump into the 45* will be altered or eliminated.
Hmm ... I see half the track as one lined. From the start straight to the corner at the very top. Sand sweepers always are and following the track from there, the way the turns are with the sections, I don't see any passing opportunities. Last three sections before the finish will be where all the passing happens.

Confirmed. There is a MONSTER double at East Rutherford this year.. Tyrannasaurus rex sized double across the start straight coming around a corner. Thats boss that theres another track still to go with one of these.
I like the track designs so far! Long rhythm lanes and cool obstacles like the double double at A1 or that monster double for NY.
I think we are seeing a progression in the tracks to match the progression in the bikes. In time the riders will have to really REALLY put their balls on the line like riders from past decades
ET3 going to rail the outside of that sand turn in all 3 mains next weekend for the W, stamp it.
Looks good So far the tracks this year have been excellent
Now, i hope it dont rain next weekend!

Atlanta had a monster double over the start straight like this in 2014 and it was awesome, followed by a quad after the following turn. This was the year they did the extra landing out past the triple landing and turned them into quads.
It’s already built, you can see this section at the 4:44 mark in the video here:

I feel more comfortable turning right and that jump looks awsome to me, if it was to the left i wouldn't like it lol

Three times the size jumps, three times as bad injuries. There will never be a time again where riders push the limits of the bikes like they were in the 70s and 80s. The human body can only take so much abuse and the capability of the bikes surpassed that level a while ago.
12 minute races on a track with very little passing opportunity by the looks of it. Expect more unexpected this weekend.

There's gonna be a lot of apologizing

Thought the same thing, got tickets along the third base line for that reason. Should be where most/all of the passing happens.
They call it a hip jump. Way fun to watch, and it's been a long time...but it's been done before. These tracks already put last year's to shame.

Me too! I could nail this, but if it was a left turn, I'd be rolling it every time. Why can't I kick my bike right?!? lol
Right turns are actually harder because you cant use the rear brake. Left is way easier for most.

I get that, but in terms of being able to whip...I'm way better at whipping the bike to the left (a'la what's needed for this turn) than right.

I have it the opposite way. Going left I'd be fine, this way I'd be screwed!

His front caliper will malfunction and he will ice skate right back into the pitstall. (didn’t say he will crash. He won’t. He will be done though...)

Haha sounds about right. It’s like what part will fail on his bike this weekend. Can’t win races if you aren’t in them
Thank your dirt wurx for the hard and getting the track built before the rains hit this week in So Cal. Weather and Track should be prime on Saturday.
A one day build is crazy
