Talking about D Smith # 707 being way off the pace.. I raced sx for 7 (98-06) seasons and the AMA will pull you off the track if they see that you arent cutting it. If you dont go out there and jump the triples or if you are just all over the place and a danger to everyone around, they will dq you from qualifying. I saw it happen many times before. Local guys would show up with a pro license and roll the track for 8 laps, not even jumping the finish line.
