90% chance is a good chance it’ll be a mudder.

Will Plessinger dominate in the mud? Or will we see Reed push his bike to victory?

Don’t think we’ll see any mud. Pre race jitters got a few people jumping the gate. Saturday can’t get here quick enough!

I hope not because the track actually looks super cool and a good layout. We all know how accurate weather apps are so I won’t hold my breath but I’m crossing my fingers

I would feel pretty safe betting against it being a mudder. Though I think having the opener be a murder would be more interesting that a later round when everyone is already settled in and spaced out in points.

SoCal weather always calls for rain in the winter but it rarely actually dumps.

sweet baby jesus, this was the first thing i thought of when i read the title. LaughingLaughingLaughing

my perspective from living <5mi from Anaheim stadium for past 20 years is this:
100% chance of rain = 50/50 chance
75% chance of rain = 25% chance
anything less than 55% chance of rain = no rain.

Also, add 12 to 24 hours to the approximate time rain is supposed to start for when it does start.

Local LA news tonight made it sound like the rain would hit later Saturday night and early am on Sunday. Hopefully after the races.

Look at all those 2-strokes. Had to be 2005, only time I sat in the between section that was covered.

Yes it is 2005 ! Windham for the win in the mud. What a great season it was ! The last one with 2 strokes. Remenber like it was yesterday the battles between Reed and RC and then with Stew few rounds later. Man they were often lapping the guy sitting in 4th ! They were above anyone else on those 2 strokes !

Great year of racing, I think it was Atlanta where CR and RC lapped everyone except themselves?

Lets hope this plays out some other way than what most of the forecasters are showing. Practice and qualifying should be good after that not so much...

Unlikely there's rain for the night show so most likely practice/qualifying gets postponed to one session and the night show is completely fine. You guys are quick to forget just how good the track crew is nowadays at draining the water. If anything the first heat will look over-watered but barely noticeable come main event.

Larocco definitely won that race. I remember being there and watching with my dad. Finding out they gave it to Windham we were saying wtf??

The weather on the local news just said “ rain for most of Southern California by 6:30 pm on Saturday night”
Hopefully they are wrong and it comes in later.
