Realistically for a mud race id go Barcia or Reedy.

You saying he can’t ride the mud? I don’t understand what the comment is implying. Sorry please explain.

Even if it's muddy, AP would not win.

He wont get the start. So even if he would have the pace for it i don't think that he will win. It would be cool though!

Yup him and Barcia, Reed are going to have a good ride. I really hope it’s not like Seattle last year.

My vote goes tomac. Last sx mudder he had it. Id go off mxon but we sent all 3 of our mudder guys and they all flopped. Tomac still beat barcia and AP

I hate watching mud races. Hopefully the weather people are wrong like they usually are here.

What you’d like to see and what’s realistic are two totally different things.

People easily forget that Tomac doesn't care what the conditions are. He's blazing fast no matter what.

If it's truly a mudder, much goes out the window... But the faster guys are usually still faster. I like Barcia, but Tomac will still be there. I think it hurts Ando a little. But don't be surprised if a normal 15th placer gets a top 5 or better.

I laughed when I saw this thread, but if it rains, could be top three. I just changed my picks accordingly

I’d think about finding another sport to follow.

It was muddy at MXON. How'd he do?
Not to re-hash this (it's been beat to death a thousand times over), but Plessy was up front in his qualifier and with one mistake over that uphill jump things snowballed.

To say or imply that AP isn't a world class mud rider is just silly. So are MM, CR, JB though...

It was a wet race, not a mudder. AP is a brilliant mud rider.

Well, last time he rode in the mud he got EMBARRASSED on a world stage. So, being that Barcia and Reed ride really well in the mud, I’d go with one of those.

I don’t care for mud races but it will rain tonight. Make peace with it.

That said, I just hope everybody’s equipment makes it to the finish. I hate it when a top player loses 25 pts right off the bat because of a mechanical (think Reed 2005).

Mud or no mud, Plessy is faster than Reed. Reed isn’t going to win races at this point in his career.
