Yea Chip, every one of those pics could tell a story. I wonder if in like 20 or 30 years we will look back at pics of today and say the same thing? Only we will be bench racing in a convalescent home Dizzy

I think we will say the same thing Scottie, but I also think we will be saying the 70s and 80s Motocross era was a little bit cooler.

I remember when RogerD came back after his crash( triple clamp broke) wearing the full face helmet. I did`nt like it at the time but then everyone went to them and they became the thing. Great photo`s , take`s you back a little.

Photo #18, Lackey @ Carlsbad "73" possibly my favorite.

Those are just awesome. Some classic footage. Those guys also had the heart of a lion and raced for the glory and not the money. Good times. Thanks for sharing.

I remember going to the races in Puyallup,Wa in the mid-late 70's and saw a lot of these heros of the sport going at it ! Awesome period for the sport. Thanks for sharing the pics !
