I have new black handlebars that were mounted on my klx140 for 1 ride and a brand new ProTaper bar pad if he can use them, let me know!

For sure! He's a young rider, so having a spare pair of bars will likely be a good thing, right? Especially given that the stock bars on that are now 13 years old.....

I would order torque wrench for him myself but every man should buy his first own torque wrench for his sprocket bolts himself. So hope the money helps for that cause. ;-)

Really fucking awesome to see what this community at Vital can do, after going over the list and seeing all the awesome things you guys have contributed I couldn’t think of what else this young man will need so I went ahead and ordered him up a subscription to RacerX, don’t worry Mayson I’ll never let it expire.

Update. Got the proof from Decal Works just now. These will be applied to new plastic by them and shipped to Mayson’s place. They also are throwing in a bunch of mini-plate decals, etc.

Hey Hammer - has anyone helped contribute with some oils & chemicals? Seeing as he will have a Bel-Ray logo on his bike, it's only fitting that I send him a Bel-Ray care package. I have a bunch of engine oil, chain lube, filter oil & grease at my house.

Just heard back from the owner of Works Connection, he doesn't have a Vital login but asked me to post for him.

They will be supplying some parts too!

There's been a couple maxima chain care kits and some DT filters and oil but that's all so far. We sure do go through all that stuff at my house so I'm sure he can use it too!

This is what I love about the Moto world. I live across the freeway from Mayson. I could help out with suspension rebuild/ bike maintenance/ ride to track. Don't want to step on slipdog's toes. Would love to help out.

I'll post an updated list shortly. You guys are giving faster than I can keep up with!! My wife got home late last nigh from a trip to visit family, and I showed her this thread. She had to stop reading several times to cry.

You all have touched a lot of people with your caring and generosity. Not only is Mayson going to have a beautiful, solid bike when this is done, I think he's going to have a little nest-egg to give him some financial security as he enters adulthood. That's truly life-changing!

WC is right over there in Cameron Park, just a few miles from where Mayson lives. Maybe we can drop the bike off there when Slipdog is done and have them add a few things before it goes back to Mayson?

My email address is in the thread so drop me your contact info and I'll get it to Mayson's Grandpa. Ted722 has also offered to get Mayson to the track, as has another guy from the Central Valley (Tulare, Oatfield, Club Moto - man I miss riding those!!!)

I used to live on the other side of 50 from Mayson. We had 5 acres and a track off Rancheria. Mayson and my boy put countless hours there on 50s when they first learned to ride.
