Man friend is a thing. Maybe it was Mcgrath who started it? In his book he talked about how he had no one to hang with all day so he paid one of his buddy's a monthly allowance. I forget his name but his parents didn't like the guy.

For an outsiders perspective, I thought that was pretty insightful on thing's that we, who have been around the sport for a long time, are accustom to. Wait until she goes over why the top of the left boot is textured and the right one is not! lol She seems to be making a solid effort to learn about Moto and is making a video to help other people who are just being exposed to all of the silly stuff that happens that even we poke fun at. She's going to tuck her ears into her hat next.

Newbie? If Stefy Bau hasn't brought her wife up to speed on what a hotshot is by now, I'd say she isn't doing her part for the mx community. A basic understanding of MX was a requirement long before any talk of marriage in our house, just saying. Step it up Stefy Bau! LOL

My earliest memory of Stefy is from a video game. 20 years ago. Whether or not she's married to an MX legend, I'd hope that if someone of lesser importance had a significant other post a video akin to Rachel's that we would all embrace it the same.

Ironic how this ad is so similar to what Rachel posted.

Pretty sure I was on a flight from SF to Chicago Midway with you guys late last year, around October. Not totally sure though. It was like a moto-celebrity spotting of sorts.

I think we need to define these 3 terms.

1. Holeshot. Rider in lead exiting first turn. There is no “2nd place holeshot” or “I didn’t do a good holeshot” - you got a 2nd place start, or a shit start. Only 1 guy gets a holeshot per Moto!! Get it right.

2. Team mate. Ride for same team. That’s it. Don’t have to train together, ride together, test together or like each other. May (Musquin) or may not (jmb) help you in a championship scenario could help you win $1m!

3. Man friend - Guy you pay to do your wife/girlfriends job because a) you don’t have a WAG or b) a 7.5 doesn’t want to stand on the podium next to a 9.5 on TV. If your man friend is younger than 21 - he’s a boyfriend.
