I wonder why linkage didn't continue development on top of the swingarm. Better ground clearance. The new BMW/Huskies have a top mounted linkage.

I've had a CR480R and CR125R from this year and they were incredible bikes. They had things like fully removable subframes and lightweight aluminum components years before the competition.

I was wondering the same thing. I'm thinking Kyle Lewis, but I'm not too sure.

Yes it was, my buddy bought a YZ and tried to talk me into getting one the same day but I wanted to wait until the Zuk shop got the new RM's in, I was glad that I waited.

Man, looking at all these ad's from the mid-1980's takes me back to my junior high school days from back then. I would typically go to the library during study hall to hurry up and get my homework done from the night before. Needless to say, I would never do my homework the night before because I was tearing up the neighborhood on my 1985 YZ80. Anyways, I would go to the library, but somehow always get sidetracked looking at the newest (or sometimes old issues) of MXA or Dirt Bike magazine. I remember seeing alot of these ads, especially the one's that Mathes posted on Pulp. Brings back a ton of awesome memories. Thanks to all who have posted them.

I loved mine. One of the best handling, best motors, race bikes of that era.
