Thats gotta give a slight mental edge having your number that you rode with your entire career. Nothing crazy but just a little bit more comfort having things starting to fall into place for him.

His career number throughout amateur career, plus I think it may have also been his Dads number way back in his stock car days..... lots of history with it. As for his Dad running it, I could be mistaken, but I thought I read that in an article years ago....,
Such a nice family he has, always enjoyed talking with them at Ponca each year as he grew up.
