What do you guys think. $900 for a $70 helmet. Fair price or rip off?

Its got alot of autographs but they are still on a ugly cheap helmet. Maybe if you were getting a cool helmet that tagger painted or somthing maybe, but not that thing.

Yeah the BILT kills it. Ugly as sin.

I'd rather have all the riders sign a dam Bieffe.

Why would he have used that helmet of all helmets to get all those autographs on!? At least get a good looking Bilt lid!

To me a $70 dollar helmet with autographs is not worth $900.

I cuss the entire time I'm in Cycle Gear. . . every time. Bilt is the worst riding gear you can buy. I wouldn't use it as TP. Cycle Gear (at least the Fort Worth location) now caters to the extreme broke ass newb. They have very little in their store that is for the tenured rider or someone that wants quality riding gear. What little they do have is way overpriced. I go in there about once every 3 or 4 months for 2 stroke oil and that's it anymore. Used to buy gear, helmets, boots, goggles, and just about everything there.

This isn't my first rant about them here either. Ha.

I've never been in a cycle gear but I do get their catalog in the mail occasionally. It's always good for a quick laugh. The stuff they sell doesn't even look good enough to carry in Walmart.

Who the heck is this guy??

If ugliness was a sin that helmet would be in the electric chair. I wouldn't want it for free.

And that is what's wrong with autographs, and why so many don't really want to sign anything. I personally think the jackass that had all that done should burn for wasting everyone's time.

My thoughts exactly. With that unknown, probably brings the value back down to $70.

I worked there from the time it was an awesome place through the time the new management decided to turn it into a cheaper, motorcycle version of a Zumies. Its too bad. The Bilt gear was one of the first transitions of turning into a joke of a shop. And no, not worth $900 and the person should have been laughed off for gathering a bunch of signatures just to make a quick buck.

I have an old ocelot jersey circa 1993 with some good ones on it...MC, Stanton, Swink, Emig, Stephenson etc etc...my dad was cheap haha...full ocelot gear and then I had a custom painted shoei that I got from a friend when he grew out of it...the helmet was worth more than my 83 Yz 80 and gear combined...

Ha! Same story on this end at the Bedford Location man. They are good for grips, oil and chainlube and the occasional airfilter. I buy a new one every month it seems. I have a sweet pile of dirty ones that I'm hoping my wife decides to wash someday haha.

But yea, complete waste of time if you are looking for gear. They do have a nice selection of moto tools and gas cans though. Thats the only part of the store I browse these days.
