Unfortunately I think each season there will be more and more without rides...

I think the bubble has burst on the high salaries. At lease guys like Hamblin and Preston got it while the going was good. I feel sorry for the kids coming up now that have put EVERYTHING they have into riding...include sacrificing their educations.

Yea it definitly sucks but there's always plenty of room for outside sponsorship(Red Bull, Monster, Target, Nike, etc.), maybe that's the way it will go in the future so Factories can have more teams not breaking their bank and it might help stabilize bike prices as well.

Jason Lawrence wins a championship - along with Preston and these guys have no rides. I will admit Jason was his own worst enemy. Ryan Villopoto says he got a bad rap from winning the championship last year (TransworldMX). Um -excuses are like a-holes. Everyone's got one. The track is the same for everyone.

This sport has a hard on for AMA friendly riders. Just another reason the AMA needs to be abolished.
