Chris is from Powell butte Oregon.. A little town just outside of Bend .. He's been getting faster every year.. He got 2nd this year behind AC in the 85cc 12-13 mod at loretta lynns and has been right there at all the amateur championships this year. He can ride the hell out of a SX track. For some reason AC gets all the press when there's a bunch of fast kids coming up right now.

Yup, Chris is on a Kawi. He also set the fastest lap.

The reason AC gets more press is because he's a year younger.

AC gets more press then anyone. Heck AC get's more press then 90% of the pro factory riders. I'm not saying he doesn't deserve it. I just think the media should spread the love a little.

yeah ive watched chris for aalong time also and see him at the races when he is in the area when my son is racing at the same events. AC just lives in a great area that gets alot more press and alot of high calibur riders

Chris rode for me when I worked at Cobra, they are a great family to work with, this kid is awesome!

I think he is still on a Yamaha, I think it may be listed wrong on the sheet.

Adam gets all of the press because he wins consistently. He won both the 9-11 classes as a 10 year old and both the 12-13 classes as a 12 year old.

I saw Alldredge last week at Dodge Amateur National at Hangtown. He was killing it on a Yamaha. He won tons of 85 classes and Supermini. Kid has tons of talent!

Really not that surprising at all. Both Alldredge and AC are very talented riders and on such a tight track like the open the smaller bikes can be an advantage in the short burst from corner to corner.

There is really no where to use the power of a 450 on such a tight track other than a large jump right out of a corner.

I would trade the advantage of an 85 in the tight corners for the ability of a 450 with big wheels to skim the whoops any day of the week.

I haven't see the track or watched the races but wheel base length and wheel size could also play a part how one get's through the whoops. If they aren’t' brutally deep kids with the talent of both ACs could get through them pretty well and if they are spaced just right the smaller bike could possibly "jump jump" rather than skim. When it comes to a tight track like this corner speed normally trumps everything else.

Kids of this caliber can normally figure out tracks like this very quickly. My point is that kids like the ACs are very talented and on a tight track like this I am not really suprised with their speed at all.
