7yr old injured Saturday at Loretta's???

This is a devastating injury for anyone let alone a child at the beginning of her life and I thought the community here at Vital should know since I didn't see anything here yet, I plan on sending some toys and stuffed animals as the family requested if nothing but to show here that we're thinking about her.

Praying for this little sweetheart and her family. So happy that she does have that bit of feeling. Hate hearing about this in our sport, but especially when it comes to our babies.

I think I read on the cobra page on Facebook that she was swimming in the creek and a teenager jumped from like 20’ up landing in her. Absolutely heart breaking

Sorry guys, I edited the original post from guessing it happened in the creek because I didn't know any details and the family confirmed this morning it did happen there. I assumed it may have been a diving injury because of the bandage on her forehead but I didn't know for sure. Not sure why it feels even more tragic if it happened the way mikemike suggested but I'm holding out hope she is able to overcome this and make a full recovery.

I hope they can find a place like mary free bed rehab. also dont rush into surgery. too many people i know got worse. Dehoop waited and hes walking

Yes the girl should be taken care of financially for life, but I don’t think DC is liable… I’m sure our go fund me healthcare system will take care of her fine.

Fact of the matter is this unfortunately happened and no one on this board witnessed it. It is a horrible tragedy and we don't need a bunch of people arguing who is at fault. It's pointless.
Again can someone please share the gofundme or venmo to help with the costs of this girl recovering?
