Didn't see a topic yet. Adam Enticknap signed with HEP Suzuki last night at the live Pulp show.
You can see the video on Clint Lund's vlog here:

24 minutes and 40 seconds is the announcement, but the whole video is cool, shows a lot of behind the scenes press day stuff.

Pit Row
He's got close to 70k followers on Instagram.
His music video has over 340k views.
You don't think that counts for anything?
Look at Stankdog. He doesn't get the best results but has a huge following. Over 110k followers on Instagram. That's more than some of the bigger names on factory rides.
People will be lining up at the HEP Motorsports rig to get autographs and that's eyes on the sponsors.
BTW, you proved my point that it isn't always about results.
"you think anyone would know who Stankdog is if he didn't ride a smoker?"
No and by choosing to ride the two stroke he carved out a niche for himself and is known to plenty of people. If it wasn't for that do you think he would have as many sponsors as he has now? No. His results alone wouldn't justify them but having the following he has does.
Same applies to Enticknap.
Racing is a form of marketing and both of those guys do it well.
The awesomeness of Canadian Motocross.
The Awesomeness of Chad Reed.
