ummmm....What the hell was she thinking? It looks like there was a landing ramp there but way overshot it. Trying not to be mean but the way the bike was controlled in the air was very beginer-like. She is lucky that she did not get hurt any worse, it looked alot worse.

wasn't even inline with the landing, I think a gust of wind from behind was the culprit. It always amazed me how quickly the wind can shift a 200+ pound bike in the air. Broke a few big toes and bruise my heel pretty bad footing out on a landing to keep upright.

Amazing shes o.k. You have to click the link and see the incredible damage photos. Wow.. Not real big on the FMX anymore. I thought it was cool initially, but definitely don't see the long term fun in it.

Ugh, that was sickening.

Not that it would have made any difference, but they set up the ramp/landing on the pavement, right next to the dirt, for a dirt bike jump?

She has been jumping 75 foot ramp setups for a while now and doing demos. This was a last minute thing and she had to use a new bike off the dealer floor. I guess it was more power than she was used to AND a tailwind...if FMX was easy everyone would be doing it....

A for effort.

But fuck risking your life to give a crowd something to look at while they're lining up for food during intermission for another sport. Unfortunately that's all freestyle is good for.

Women are a lot more limber. Being female might have helped her. Holy shit that was nasty.

She gets a A+ for holding the grips until knocked out, really though she looked like that was her first time? At some point you would have thought she would of figured out that she wasn't landing that and just bailed.

Good thing she brake tapped otherwise that could have ended poorly...

In all serious I'm glad she wasn't hurt any worse than that. She got off pretty lucky. Hope she has a full and speedy recovery.

Retard fmx organizers who push unfamiliar bikes should be shot... Not saying this is the case here for sure, pretty sure Gary runs a tight ship, but ive seen it happen more than once where a rider is on a new bike due to last minute organizing then gets f*&ked up..
