Jmarts career kind of reminds me of steve lamsons, mostly due to having two relatively dominant title runs, and being on a honda with #6.

So, will Jmart find success (ie win at A race) in 450's, or get shut down and kept from excelling

With the likes of Tomac, Barcia, Roczen, MM25 it would be a stretch but anything can happen and Jmart has the talent and heart. I hope he does well on the 450!

After a quick consult with the RacerX Vault, I was reminded that Lammy never won a SX race. Small bike or big bike. So Jmart already has him covered in this aspect. However, Jeremy has stayed in 250 SX way longer than Lamson, who was out after 3 years. Jeremy just finished his 6th season and has 6 wins total but only 2 in his first 3 seasons.

His injury notwithstanding, I think Jeremy can be a solid 450 guy outdoors. He's in shape and that counts for a lot on the big bike. But he's does tend to bulldog the 250 and he won't be able to that on the 450. This is even holding Webb back a bit right now. Just like it's held Barcia back. Tomac is one of the few guys in recent memory who rode the 250 with reckless abandon and has been able to *mostly* make it work on the 450. Guys like Dungey, Kenny, Marvin, were smooth 250 riders who became smooth 450 riders.

J mart will win outdoor s races on a 450 .imo I think he could be a better 450 rider outdoors. Even though he is a two time champ on the 250 the lines he takes some time s are so bizarre. Every race you 'll see him in at least one turn go miles wide and lose a ton of ground .I think he will have the extra speed to run the mad wide lines on the 450 a la villo. Jmo

Lammy rode the YZ360 pretty darn well as a Rookie and i think he would of adapted very well to the 450. Martin's already proven he can handle a 450 no problem. I look forward to him going full-time 450 someday.
