Only Soccer? How many stick and Ballsport do you now anyway?
Or only the one that are playing in the US.

If I was MX Sports, I would be moving Heaven and Earth to persuade Herlings and his sponsors to make this happen.

The US outdoor series is facing a new threat in the form of this World SX proposal and Herlings coming over for the full series could really generate a lot of interest and keep the outdoor nationals relevant.

I want this to happen just because I'm curious as hell to see it play out.

Here is what I think about this.

I think Herlings can ride nationals faster than Eli but he also obviously has issues getting injured. I see this as a good title fight if it happens. Tomac has the upperhand in knowing the tracks and conditions, meanwhile Herlings generally has the upperhand on speed.

Let's see this happen, it could be a good title fight.

Don't forget he's out of competition for 7 month's.
When Herlings cane back in 20 and 21 the first GP's he was struggling with the rhythm and armpump.
It won't be easy that's for sure.

I’ll look forward to watching the US Rugby and Cricket then.

Maybe ill rephrase my quote lol wow… the stick and ball sports with millions and millions of $ where the best from around the world leave their countries to come and play. The more popular ones worldwide… basketball, baseball, the biggest $ sport in the world thats centered in one country also happens to be here. I apologize if 1/10 of the people who watch the sports i mentioned watch any other one besides soccer but the point is the $ is here… curious of the rugby/cricket championships tv ratings worldwide compared to nba finals or the world series… we can leave the super bowl out of it😂 again ill repeat the $ is here way more even in this sport then a race at a construction site in Indonesia. The list of top euros coming here far outweighs the list of americans going there at all. There is a reason lol $$$$$$

I think what you should be saying is all the top leagues of the stick and ball sports that Americans care about are in the US..
I don't know any non American or see one talking about the 'world series' (haha 'world') I know of maybe 2 that have any interest in basketball..
Cricket is watched by millions worldwide but there is no real 'final series' so there's not one final game that all cricket fans watch.. Millions were tuned into each game in the series between Aus and India last year..

Yep Euros go there (well used to) for money in our sport or cause they're interested in SX.. I don't think Herlings has either of those motivations

If he comes my wife is gonna hate me for watching MX live every week. I typically wait and watch later but it’s what we have all wanted for 5 years now. Also all of us tomac fans don’t believe that kawi was a good fit for him, he will be something else this summer like Honda days smoking dungey by 1.5 minutes

If not for Tomac I'd say Herlings doing the nationals is the only shot Austria has at a US title this year and maybe even at any major title as Gasjer and Geerts seem to have control over the GPs. It'd be a great way to shake things up nonetheless.
Welp, that didn’t take long.

A quick google search of Cricket World Cup viewing figures will answer your question.

Tony won't be coming over for the full season. He's already told Roger no because he doesn't want to be away from home for that long of a period. It does look like he'll be racing some nationals near the end of the series in order to get ready for MXoN.

As for the bomb drop, Dungey's been testing... 🤔

Tomac, Dungey, Cairoli, Herlings, Ferrandis and Roczen. That’s not even including the guys who have SX titles or 250 titles. Jeez. We could have 15+ guys who have either a 250 or 450 MX or SX title on their resume.

Roger just said on Race Day Live he doesn't think it's going to happen as he'll need another small surgery.

Well he also said should know more on Tuesday.

Doesn't sound like it's happening. KTM wants him to be 100% healthy before coming back this time around.

Bummer. It would still be cool if he came over for like 6 races, rather than go back to the GPs for a handful more wins where he's a known quantity. If it's a half series vs half series, not sure what gets prioritized from him.

DeCoster said he’s seeing another specialist next week, it seems like he really wants to race but unfortunately this damn injury is holding him up.

He might not be fit for Pala in a month but I also don’t think Beirer should be worried for the 2023 MXGP season if he tries to rush things up to make a sense of this year, he’s ten months or so away from that and he already has three months of therapy behind him, he’s gonna be fine for 2023 anyway

Jeffrey is now live on Dutch television and said everything is going alright and is going to seen the doctor this week.
So the host said the next race are the outdoors, Jeffrey answered that are your words, but he also said it's going to be difficult because it's only 4 weeks left.
Jeffrey wasn't on the television for 4 weeks so I think he was in full training, swimming the gym cycling but I think they realise it's to short and difficult to become in race fitness.
I really hope I'm wrong.
