He's definately on it but too early to call it when it hasn't even started. Would I be terribly surprised? Nope....

Tomac at glen Helen for the mxgp was godly. I can't even imagine him this year after all the sx confidence.

With no Roczen, it's actually looking feasible. I mean, Roczen essentially did it last year if Tomac wasn't there; those two are just that much better than everyone outdoors

Not if it comes true. I think there is a high possibility of exactly that happening.

I think Bagget is going to really step it up outdoors. Just look how comfortable he is on the KTM indoors, and he has had a lot more success outdoors.

I enjoy watching Tomac smoke everyone, it's kinda like a glimpse into the future. Certain things he does on a dirt bike are mind boggling, next level stuff

I remember Dungey being handed this SX title....
Yep, and people saying how boring this supercross season would be after kr won a1 so convincingly.

The way Tomac is going I might not bet against him winning 20 motos. However, I think there will be some competition. Dungey, if he is serious, can be a threat, Marvin will be good this year, Barcia might surprise some, and I think there could be a dark horse that might win some. He's a former lites MX champion on a new bike this year, and it is not Dean Wilson, who may do well too. No, he is Blake Baggett. Blake has done great in SX this year, well for him, because he use to hate SX. I think he is ready to have a good season outdoors.

I'm hoping that Bagget can step up. I know Eli has a ton of confidence right now, but I think Blake still has in his mind the memories of chasing down everyone in the 250 class with his mad late moto charges. I'm 99% sure Tomac will take it, but I'm hopeful that Blake can help to make it a bit more exciting. Sadly, I think Ryan has visions of life after moto and maybe just doesn't have the drive he used to. The drive to go after those #1 plates diminishes after winning a half dozen or so. Eli wants one badly though. It's a tough time for me as I've been a Dungey fan since his first season on 250's. I've also been on the Tomac bandwagon since his 1-1 win at Freestone (I believe). Now two of my favorites are duking it out for the same title and I want both to win. However it ends, I'll be happy for one and sad for the other. Cheers to a great champion and a future champion.

Edit: I forgot about Cooper Webb. I don't think he's a threat for the title year one, but a threat for a couple moto wins. Then in 2018 I could see JMart being tough too. The futures looking pretty bright still.

I think webb and musquin are the only ones that can even come remotely close to tomac outdoors.

Hangtown 2010. Freestone didn't go so well for him, the second round that year. I also think he went 3-1 at Hangtown that year for his first overall win.

Yup, you're right. It was the second moto of Freestone where he hit the wall and dropped to 11th. I think he just used up all his energy going for it. Can't hate on him for that though. Kids got heart.

Tomac is great to watch because he gets after it like everyone had to in two stroke days, one of the few freaks that can push a 450. Kenny is awesome to watch, but he's so smooth it's not as entertaining.

Yep - I was there, and it seemed like he wasn't the same for the rest of the year after that.

Webb, Anderson and Musquin are the only ones I can see keeping Tomac honest.....but not consistently.

Agreed, Tomac is so strong and aggressive it's awesome to watch him! Nothing smooth about him, just pure aggression.

If Tomac doesn't crash out or have a mechanical, I don't see anyone beating him. Bad start? Doesn't matter, he'll come through the pack and win by :15. Good start? He'll win by 1:30. He's that dominant.
