I finally picked up a new 450!

Long story short, I bought a 2015 RMZ450 when I got my first big boy job. One year later towards the end of 2016, some low life scum bag broke into my garage and stole it. I just paid it off like two years ago.

Fast forward to now, I just picked up a left over 2020 KX450! I'm freaking stoked to say the least, here's a couple snap shots

Are you getting insurance this time around?
10000%

The dealer I bought my old RMZ from told me I only needed GAP. Well that obviously wasn’t the case. Hard learning experience but I definitely know the move going forward.

Nice bike. Like the evo too
Thanks man! I just did the ETS FF turbo kit with a Xona Rotor 7864. I’m in the middle of doing a clutch job before we see how much power the stock bottom end will handle haha

Feels Great I bet, getting another bike. Sucks that you got stuck making payments on a bike that was stolen. I had bikes stolen also, the morning I was bringing them to my pals shop. He was giving me 8k loan and holding the bikes. My account was drained from a bad elbow surgery. Contract job 240k lined up in Nd. I get out of the shower , I had messages that my storage was broken into, but nothing was gone, they didn’t open the door. Next message everything is gone. I couldn’t stop yelling no and felt like I was sucked backed wards into a dark tunnel. All packed and on top of the world, to the bottom. Stuck in trucking, everyone said stay away from this mega carrier , they dropping transmissions all over Chicago, railyard job. Trucks where junk, always broke down, trans. fell out I watched the shifter drop, just s. Of Cicero ave on i55. I had exhaust spraying into the cab, dr , failed lung test in a diff truck. Get ripped off at a bad time in Life, and crap is bad. But I just bought 1 of the same bikes that where stolen. Felt really weird like a dream , sitting on it with the seller there.

Good on you to have the financial discipline to pay the other one off before getting a new one. I'm sure that was frustrating.

Welcome back bro

Nice one on the bike man, enjoy it!

I can remember the Evo clutch job not being super fun, sure you've got it down though, I normally stick to one or two driven wheels haha, looks a well sorted car.

I have progressive. I actually put it on the bike before I left the dealer. $400 a year.

What insurance company wrote 4 bikes for $147 a year?

Happy for you. $160 to insure my 4 bikes with Progressive.

Congrats on the new bike

When I got 3 bikes stolen, I opted to just start locking my bikes up properly instead of insurance. I have 6 plus bikes always, and always getting new ones cause my kids race. I’d have to be on the phone with progressive every month updating bikes if I had insurance.

If I was young and single again with only one bike, and going to bars and stuff after the track, then I’d insure the bike.

I drop and add on the fly with my app. Literally takes me 2 minutes to drop a bike and add a new vin.

My bike got stolen outta my garage. Never had a problem travelling. Only when home. Scum bags will get your shit. I say come and take it now. Whatever

Markel here..full coverage, $160/yr. Might be less due to location...
