Be aware that there is a break in brocedure that includes a one time removal of a metal catch screen w/ the 1 hour oil change and a dealer reset of the FI.

It's important apparently but most dealers are not aware of it.

Is the break in "brocedure" only applicable if you are a black sock's and flat bill wearing Mulisha member?

Yeah.. I putt around a little when I first got home.
I'm coming off a 2008 YZ250f and 2006 YZ450f. I've also been messing around on an '02 YZ250 a bit.

This things waaaaay roomier than all of those Yamis, especially after I moved the mounts and put my bend of bars on. Fits my 6'1" frame nicely.

I hear that.... My dealer did mention it. It's nothing I wouldn't have done with a new bike anyway. KTM's awesome with this though, they give you oil for the first change and all.

Haven't ridden one, but quite possibly the perfect bike for me IMO. Jealous to say the least. Too bad I can't ever justify buying bikes brand new, I'm looking foward to seeing some pop-up on CL.

We'll see about rims and such. I'll have all winter to bling it, right now my main concern is getting it dirty!

Looks good, I was at a local dealer, and checked it out. Price is about $100 less than the 450.

There is usually some grease, but the beauty of having a new bike, is tearing apart and greasing it!

with as good a shape you're in from the rower you should be able to pound out some serious moto's. :-)
I might look to a 350 next year.

Looks like a great bike but having such a strict policy on the break in and oil change makes a person wonder about the manufacturing process they use.

The strictest break in I can recall for any vehicle is for a Porsche 911, and we all know those are pieces of shit.
