There was a sign up above the track which read "NO DAVID NO PARTY" is that because DB's not at the race ?
I think Malin or Emig mentioned members of that winning team were about the paddock

Perhaps fans of David Philipaerts being a bit stroppy about him not being in the Italian Team? Though, I think he's retired / out with injury.

I'm just surprised it's up there - Luongo very much wants money for every inch of space that can hold an advertising hoarding. Maybe the fan / fans paid for a spot. It will be interesting to see if it's still up tomorrow.

Thanks just saw a photo of the three legends in the restaurant.
Those advertising hoardings need a chainsaw taken to them, how do the fans see the track especially on the downhills ?

That was one epic film/ doc, highly enjoyable.
David Bailey commenting on the footage and telling you how it was adds another dimension to it. You usually just watch the race and thats it but getting his take on it telling you things that you would never have known just makes it so good.
I watched the '86 Des Nations a few times but this version I think is the very best way to watch it of all.
