3 - 4 before the whoops

There was no comment on the broadcast about Anderson's 3 - 4 before the whoops. Everyone else was doing 2 - 2- 3. They only showed him doing it once (it was one of the first few laps). Anyone there see if he did it again?

Not sure it mattered, he was making up his time by being the best in the corners without making mistakes. Great ride by Ando.

I thought I saw Webb go 3 in one lap, but didn’t see the end of the section.

He went 3-3-1 if you talking about the time I saw it.

Yeah I think he did it twice that I saw on TV. One from a head on angle and again from more of a side camera angle. That thing was huge. Would love to see a replay of it.
edit to add: I think was 4-3 right?

Just rewatched the main and Anderson jumped it lap 1 when he was in 3rd. He went 3-3-1 another lap and then you could see him in the background go 3-4 several other times.

You can see Tomac do it in one of the press day videos. Too bad he didn’t pull it out in the main: maybe it would’ve been a closer race?

Not to drag the broadcast bitching into this but that sort of stuff shouldn’t be missed. It’s the kind of thing that separates the riders. Even the casual viewer they’re trying to cater to would understand that a rider was doing something different here.

I saw him land way past where everyone else was on one lap, but was at the corner of the screen. He must have gone 3-4.

I was there. Anderson did go 3/3/1 a couple times in the main to test it out, then did 3/4 the majority of the rest of the race. He definitely made up time there every lap.

I noticed it when JA went half out of the shot on TV hahah. Pretty sick.
