Very impressive ride for Fernandez (#70).
Was scared to watch him.. so many close calls but he went for it.

Herlings injured ? looks weird on the bike

I think Paul said he had a crash and has only been on the bike for 10 days. That said he hasn't looked quite like his old self in some time.

Man the MXGP class is tight. There’s not much room for a bad start or mistakes, you got to be on it from start to finish. Would have loved to see Coldenhoff stay on track, would have been an awesome battle with Gajser.

Looked like the earlier battle with Seewer stopped Herlings momentum for a couple of laps. I agree that he's not himself for a long while now. It looks he's not comfortable on his bike. Even in Valkenswaard he was not riding 100%. None the less pretty impressive late moto charges from 84 and 222. He had to pass some very difficult guys to pass. Great for Gajser and the championship. Nice 2nd place for the Hoff. What was going on with Desalle?

Geerts not comfortable on that track. Too bad for him they have 3 GPs there.
Actually that's one of his favourite tracks. He got his first overall podium of his career there in 2018, and stood on the podium last season as well.

He just messed up. I think he was trying to attack Vialle too soon and was riding a little over his head that early in the race.

He's got 5 more motos to make up for it!

Please don't anyone take this as being against Herlings, but I really enjoyed seeing both Shorty (Jasikonis) and Sewer giving him a fight - I think both re-passing him after he first got them.

Tonus was doing so well, Simpson had quite a nasty, awkward prang, and Monticelli, that was a hell of a pile drive into the ground.

AC recovered well, The Hoff was fantastic, and TG was great.

And, all of them, out on the track, being so bloody Fast . I love Outdoor Motocross. Woohoo

Agreed on Herlings not looking like himself. He’s making a lot of small mistakes, and he’s not flowing around like he usually does. It was the same thing at Valkenswaard. Now he seemed like he started to get going, and then when Seewer took him wide it messed him up completely, Jasikonis came back by him and it took him almost 15 minutes to catch back up to Seewer. But the competition also makes it a lot harder, when 2 years ago Herlings and Cairoli casually gapped the rest by seconds a lap, now there’s 10 guys that fit in to those seconds which means you don’t get away with a bad start and when you start that late moto charge you have 5 to 7 guys to pass instead of 1 or 2.
