250f - 12 Kawi or 13 Yamaha?

So I'm looking at two bikes similarly priced, similar condition. The 2012 Kawi is bone stock. The 13 Yamaha has a pro circuit pipe.

Which would you go for? Is efi that big of a deal?

I'm probably a below average rider and am coming from an 05 yz250f if that changes anything.

My vote is the KX, but really it boils down to what you're most comfortable on and confident in. It's amazing what confidence in your bike will do.

Kawi's are always solid, if it were a 15-16 YZ I would say go blue.

But look at both bikes, if the Kawi looks trashed stay away..

Buy a 13+ kawi. They improved the chassis a lot in 2013. At least i think so.

Between the 2 i would go with the yam. Rock solid 5 valve head, good suspension, etc.

The kawis fuel injected and has had A LOT of improvents sincethe 04 model or the 06 model. The 13 yamaha was still the same unchanged bike for yrs and yrs. If it was a '14 yam thatd be a different story. But like the other guy said see whst looks better and not as trashed

Kawi. And I'm usually overly blue bias. 12 Kawi didn't have the air forks right ?
