Who do you think will claim the championship in Vegas? Marvin 'Momentum' Musquin or Will 'I have the point lead' Hahn?

Normally Hahn would get second easily because the competition is not that fast. However in Vegas, the pressure starts to boil on Hahn and I think he will ride worse then usual. He might even make a mistake and I think Musquin will end up with the throphy ...

Such a tough spot to be in, love both those dudes! Guess i would call it a win win situation either way it goes. Leaning towards Mushy though, being a RB guy and all, he and his wife are just the nicest people....yet so are the Hahn bros.

Its gonna be good, that is for sure! Imagine Kenny and Mushy wrapping them babies up on the same night? ....my head may just explode Blink

...and if somehow Dungey did the same? someone better dial 911! Woohoo

I'm a big Musquin fan but I think Hahn has this in the bag. Not once has he missed the podium this year and he'll be focused and ready at Vegas.

I disagree, its not an easy question at all.

Hahn has not been off the podium yet, meanwhile Musquin has been off the podium twice. Musquin has won 4 of the last 5, yet the round he didnt win he lost 2 points to Hahn and could have won the race.

All Hahn needs is a start and he should be fine. Hahn was nailing them at the beginning of the year.

I agree with scottie, both are such great guys, but for some reason I have been rooting for Hahn in this one so hope he wins it, but wouldnt mind if Musquin, seems like a really nice guy.

Hahn needs it and deserves it.(so what if I live where he's from). It would mean a great deal to all involved. I do like moosecan, he is one of the coolest foreigners to come over in a long time. Go WILBUR

the way that Wharton is racing , it could really hurt Hahn , & I think vegas is a good track for both of them , but musquin has been getting goodstarts

Yeah this is the way I look at it too.

Blake is potentially the biggest factor in all of this. From Wil's pov he just has to collect a 1st or 2nd, stay out of trouble and hope for a boring race. Marvin more than likely has to win and then hope for trouble for Wil - which potentially could come in the form of Blake. On the other hand the same thing could happen to Musquin....

However despite being 5 down my gut instinct says Marvin will win the title. Admittedly I prefer MM to win it but either way both guys seem cool.

If the moose gets loose early he'll be gone.Nobody has been able to run his lap times in over a month, Only a few 450's have had his pace. In a perfect world for we kansas people, Slash would take Mushy out.

I would rather have the points. It's seems that the last few years riders that weren't in the championship chase have tried to keep from getting between the points leaders at the final round. I know that didn't work out for Tomac a couple of years ago, but Hahn is older and gets more respect than Eli did.
I think Hahn will take it. They are both great guys to cheer for.

I don't think Blake will be a problem in Vegas. Check this GoPro out.

I am suggesting that somebody will take care of him early on in the race and set him back some positions. We'll see.

This is like 2010 nationals all over again with Pourcel and Trey. Except that it's the Frenchie that's got the momentum this time.
But I have a slight feeling that Hahn wont screw this up. But anything can happen in Vegas.

When I watched the race I thought Wharton was overly protective against Hahn but watching this GoPro video I kind of agree with him. The racing with Bowers was over the top. But the moves he made against Hahn, are the same I would have done in his position ...

I think Wharton will be the spoiler in Vegas (for one of them) ...

I would take the points lead going into Vegas anyday over momentum. Momentum doesn't win championships, points do.

And I think Hahn will bring it home.

If Hahn only had a 2 point lead, I'd rather be Musquin. Anything over 3 points and I'd rather be Hahn. In this situation, I'd much rather be Hahn. In the long Vegas track, it'll give the two best riders more time to finish 1-2, which gives the big advantage to Hahn.

Bowers could play a factor in the championship. With a good start he could beat one or both.

if hahn gets a start i think he has it. he has been rock solid all year. its a tough choice to choose between the two because they both seem like really cool guys but i guess im just a little bit biased towards moose since hes a ktm guy. either way like it was mentioned before, this is a win win for the fans

All I have to say is that Hahn better pull it off. Having the points lead dang near the whole time he better not give it up
4/19/2013 2:55pm
Musquin for sure. He won more races and showed he is the fastest guy on the east cost.

With Roczen and Musquin both europeans getting the sx tittles, its gonna be interesting to see how Americans will react for the outdoors

So assuming Marvin wins, Wilbur would have to get 2nd place. If he got 3rd they would be tied and Marvin would win due to more event wins, correct?
